We have a double whammy for 2003!

Yes, we have co-winners this year.

Argo alumni Mr. Michael Vanderjagt (96-97) now a record breaking kicker for the Indianapolis Colts of the NFL has the kickers version of foot in mouth disease. In February of 2003 he made some rather negative comments about the Colts QB, Peyton Manning and head coach Tony Dungy. Responding to Vanderjagt's comments, Peyton Manning stated to ABC Sports:

"The sad thing is, he's a good kicker. He's a good kicker. But he's an idiot."

Congratulations Mike, you are one in a long list of past, present and future idiots! And, a co-winner of the 2003 induction into the Argos-Suck.com Hall of Fame.

And the other winner is the former owner of the argos, Sherwood Schwarz. God bless him, he stepped up when no other buyers would. Sherwood tried may things to trick people into coming to SkyDome to watch the argos. He even invented the "Lucky Loonie" contests. Sherwood, we enjoyed watching the argos under your ownership and we are sad to see you go. Any person who loses $17.4 million Cdn, in 3.5 years on a CFL team deserves something.
